Her father and maternal grandmother nurtured her artistic and entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. She observed her father’s successful career as a vehicle painter, and they often engaged in discussions about color, the painting process, and the satisfaction of creating a finished product. My grandmother, passionate about her jewelry art, commissioned Linda to paint a special painting for her when she was just 10 years old. It depicted a tiny bird in the hand of Jesus with a caption that read, “Trust in Thee.” Sadly, Linda’s grandmother passed away three years later. This loving experience inspired her to create Linda’s Pet Portraits, and she later began commissioning pet portraits. Like many dog lovers, Linda was also influenced by Charles M. Schulz, the creator of the beloved Snoopy.

Linda is deeply passionate about animals, nature, and travel. She cherishes her time with her husband, dogs, friends. She also enjoys roller skating to music, engages in gardening, reading, writing, genealogy and dance.

Linda’s inspiration comes from various sources, including energy, light, water, motion, texture, emotion, and love. She currently finds joy in creating art from her own experiences. Painting brings her a sense of calmness, joy, and freedom, and she embraces the hope she feels when she starts each painting.
